    • I think that's normal, it happens to me too. It just shows that those situations affects u deeply that's y u have those replaying visions. Try breathing slowly and cast ur mind aside. Hmm, how shld i put this...like, no mind. As if an empty skull. Another term is 'at ease'. U should feel better the next morning. Cheers wink.png

You can do simple breathing meditation while that happens. Just bring your attention back to your breathing when you start to think about any other thing.

    • Mind control can be learnt. I have taught these easy to learn techniques for smoking cessation, insomnia, weight watching and studying all with good percentage of success. Those who didn't have success were simply lazy to put in effort to practise.

If you want, you can contact me but I charge.

Alternatively, try surfing for mind control techniques.

    • Accept it instead of denying it and trying to run away from it...

Me too i often have it... But instead of trying to forget about it and trying to deny it, just let it run wild in your mind...

Maybe you're the worrywart/paranoid type. I do that all the time too. Hopefully this helps.

      Keep busy

After any crisis, if you want to get over it, it’s important not to let yourself dwell on the negative details of the event, such as how you could have prevented it and why it happened to you. In order to properly move on, you need to find things to do to occupy your time so that you don’t end up wallowing in self-pity, something that is completely counterproductive and only women and children can actually get away with. Instead, do something that requires all of your concentration and ability. Throw yourself into your work if that’s what it takes to keep your mind busy and help you get over it.

      Find an outlet

It is healthy to express ourselves; this means laughing when we’re happy and, inevitably, crying when we’re sad. It’s absolutely fundamental to acknowledge your feelings, because it’s a huge part of the healing process. Just make sure you do it in private, because a public breakdown could destroy your reputation.

      Don’t take it personally

By recognizing the fact that bad things are a part of life, you’ll minimize the amount of pain and trauma they cause, and this will help you to get over it. It’s something that happens to everyone, and this simple fact should give you some comfort and allow you to see the bigger picture. When you take the “why me” attitude, you’re inflating the significance of the event, thus making it harder to put behind you.

Get out of town for a while

A completely new environment will often help you get your mind off things and make you see things more clearly. Take a trip to a place that’s somewhat dangerous, a place where you have to constantly stay on your guard and keep your wits about you. This will allow you to get over things quicker by putting it all into perspective and reminding you that, despite all the bullsh*t, life goes on.
