Now whatever opinion TS has on the matter is none of my business, I am only replying in response to the source cited.

My opinion is that instead of choosing to go with a viet girl over an ang moh girl, we should improve ourselves as men to become the Alpha-male capable of taming the ang moh girl or even the sg girl. To me I feel as a man I should always be striving to improve myself rather than settling for something more easily attained.

I used to be one who bitches and whines abt girls demanding equal rights yet expecting unfair treatment from "gentlemen". I've come to realise however that things are not gonna change and that by choosing the easier way out I'm not really improving myself, I'm just setting the standards lower for myself. My perspective on this now is that I should be strong and manly enough to be a gentleman and treat my woman in a more "princessy" way but at the same time letting her have equal rights. This idea however I believe will only work if that woman loves me with all her heart despite her unreasonable womanly tendencies. Of course there are exceptions and nothing is for sure.

Oh and I would like to quote a joke I've come across, "A successful man is one who can earn more than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find that man." I feel that this is something to be strived for :)

As much as his inadequacies are revealed, the threadstarter's article does bring forward quite a valid point.

What the article has shown is a man lamenting perhaps an overconsciousness of female liberation, such that its no longer an issue of equality or compaign for rights, but a detriment to societal function.

One fundamental flaw (i believe) in the laypersons's view of feminism, is that women have to be equal to men in ALL aspects. When this is definitely not the case ! I'm sure all of you know that each gender has its specific strengths and weaknesses. For example Men are better are solving technical problems, while Women are better at emotional problems. In this sense, each gender has its ROLE to play, given his/her strengths and weaknesses.

The problem now, is that women are misled by feminism such that they want equality in EVERYTHING in addition to the aspects that they are already superior to men at.

Lets have an analogy here. Women (i would say) have always been better at managing the house and children, given their patience, and inclination towards emotion and caregiving. I would call this extremely admirable and instrumental to society. Without our mothers effort we'd all probably be lying useless in some ditch somewhere.

But the influence of feminism, has driven many of the new generation of women to stupidity i must say. Women themselves despise the practises that they have excelled at for thousands and thousands of years of human civilisation. Why do women want to do everything that a man does? Just to prove themselves? And whats the use of disrupting thousands of years of societal function just to prove a point ?

When you apply this analogy to the case at hand, the misled woman's role in a relationship ultimately leads to useless disputes and eventual seperation. Biologically speaking, male mammals can be said to be hardwired to psychologically dominate a relationship. You see in with Lions, Elephants etc.. where the males fight each other for the female, and the leader of the pack is always the alpha male. Its probably the same for humans. And Men have the inherent psychological inclination to dominate a relationship. However, feminism misinterpreted serves to retard this instinct. Women just dont want to do what they've traditionally been excellent at, and intrude into Male 'territory', disrupting the traditional roles of each spouse.. and just look at the skyrocketing divorce rates XD
