"If you don't include your women graduates in your breeding pool and leave them on the shelf, you would end up a more stupid society...So what happens? There will be less bright people to support dumb people in the next generation. That's a problem." - MM Lee in 1983

Some people will die as a result of liberalising bar top dancing... a young girl with a short skirt dancing on it may attract some insults from some other men, the boyfriend will start fighting and some people will die." - Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports
"I would want to form an alternative policies group in Parliament, comprising 20 PAP MPs. These 20 PAP MPs will be free to vote in accordance with what they think of a particular policy. Hi guys, I watched the movie “Wanted” .An accounts manager gets played out by his girlfriend and co worker..his fat female boss bully him at the workplace. He lived near a noisy railway neighbourhood. In short, his life sucks and he feels like a loser.Next came Fox played by joline an assassin who guide him along with morgan freeman the ways of an assassin fratenity.Big bucks come in and ego restored with amazing marksmanship and unarmed combat. SG men lived like that, most working class just take much of mundane affairs and never wanted any changes beyond their safe workspace. How many of us can break free from the matrix and lived a life worthy of a gentleman?

Our soldiers nowadays considered thinking warriors unlike the past just follow law..so how does our soldier boys stack up against gurkhas in Nepal and Israel defence forces?
No one wants to put our soldiers on harmsway but any armed forces in the world needed to be vigilent to be relevant..
Someone suggested that we should outsource our armed forces to FT mercenaries which I think is not a far fetched idea since everything is privatised not only in SG..look at Iraq they are hiring private security forces to guard oilfield installations..think the security forces must have at least commando background to command the high pay
